Posterior Tibial Tendonitis

Posterior tibial tendonitis is a common problem in runners who forefoot strike when running. The pain of posterior tibial tendonitis is usually just above or below the medial malleolus and sometimes extends forward into the arch. The treatment is generally directed at reducing the load in the tendon.
